Karlee Lanum is an accomplished harpist and dedicated educator based in Richmond, Virginia. Known for her technical precision and warm musicality, Karlee maintains a vibrant freelance career performing with ensembles, including the Richmond Symphony, Charlottesville Symphony, and the Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra. Deeply committed to the local arts community, she is a frequent performer with the Richmond Chamber Players, where she collaborates with fellow world-class musicians to bring intimate, high-caliber performances to the RVA area.

As the founder of Richmond Harp Studio, Karlee is passionate about cultivating a love for the instrument in the next generation of musicians. She holds a Master of Music in Harp Performance from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Music from James Madison University. Whether on the concert stage or at a community event, Karlee strives to make the harp’s timeless beauty accessible to all.
